Raw vegan breakfast sushi with banana :)

Hola! I found this recipe on a raw food app called "Raw Food". Lots of free recipes on that app I recommend you check it out. :) I had to share this, really good for on the go and really tasty.

The recipe says serves 2 but this is really made for one person.
1 banana
1 leaf of some sort of green, can be kale, collard green, just anything leafy
Almond butter, I used the Mara Natha raw almond butter but you can make your own easily with the food processor.
Agave nectar or coconut nectar

Cut the banana in half. Take the stem out of the middle of the leaf you're using and this will give you 2 wraps, 1 for each half of the banana. Spread almond butter on each wrap and drizzle some of your preferred sweetener lightly over the leaf. Wrap around the banana and you're done. Enjoy!

Raw vegan frappuccino, simple and coffee free + short update

Hey guys! Long time no post. A lot has changed in my life in the past few months and I've just been embracing and adjusting to all of it. Change is such a good thing. I'm enjoying it fully.

This recipe is not my own, I got it from rawsynergy.com. This website is full of info on anything being raw, by an experienced raw foodie. :) So here it is:

I did tweak it a bit but same concept
Cup and a half coconut water
4 or 5 pitted dates
Organic vanilla extract 1 tbsp

Just blend.
Don't keep your dates in the fridge, they'll be harder to blend. You could also try this with coconut milk. Enjoy! :)

Recipe: Gerson Burgers

So pretty much 'Gerson burgers' and just veggie burgers. They're pretty awesome, however, my attempt at making these weren't super successful but they were still really good! My burgers didn't cook all the way through and the other time I tried cooking them longer they came out crispy. :/ They actually might taste good without even cooking or dehydrating them. I currently do not have a dehydrator so I had to bake them, but I will try dehydrating them when I have one and let you know how that goes :)
  • 2 cups green pulp (I used spinach and kale with a little broccoli)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onions
  • 1/2 cups of tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup of flax or chia seeds OR cooked, ground lentils
  • Drizzle flax oil or olive oil (as much as you need to make ingredients stick together)
  • Seasoning to taste (I used organic garden herb mix and sea salt)
This will make 4 medium sized patties. Just cook in glass, rectangular dish at 250-300 F for 20 to 30 min.
OR
Dehydrate at 118F for 8-10 hours

Put Avocado slices on top with a little lemon juice and lime. :) Enjoy!
